It's officially 2007!
Wow...it seemed as if it was only a few weeks ago that the previous year began. It is quite a shock to finally realize that it is indeed the end of 2006 and the start of a new year.
When I try to think about what's to come this year, I feel like it's going to be more laughter than tears. This year, I have a hunch that there will be more happiness that will come my way rather than sorrow. I don't know why. I just do. I mean, I don't expect this year to be perfect. What kind of life would that be if it were? All I'm trying to say is that...this year could be the best yet. There's so much to look forward to. Birthdays of my friends, practicum, thesis work, parties, bonding moments, friends' graduations. *Sigh* Of course, there are also particular times I wish I will not go through. But this is not exactly the right time to say it. It's too early. Next time. When the time is right.
Truth be told, I've been this happy and giddy since...well...to be exact, since November 28th. Hehehe...I can't tell you the reason why. Only one person knows the reason and I am not telling who that person is. Hahaha!
As I bid 2006 farewell, I also wish that 2007 will bring me "moments that take my breath away." Oh I just love that line. From Hitch. Life is really about it -- about those kinds of moments. I have a pretty good feeling that I will have my moments. They will come, for sure.
Hmm...my wish for this year. What do I wish for?
For my family, I just want them to have a life full of love, care and peace of mind.
For my friends, may they be successful in their endeavors.
For my loved ones, may they cherish every moment they spend together with their families.
For myself...
Hmmm...
...happiness...
...love...
...patience...
...selflessness...
That's all I want for the year.
Well, I think you can expect a whole lot of blogging for the year 2007. Hahaha!
Happy New Year!!!
